At Nishita Foundation Seva Samiti, we stand at the frontline during these times of crisis, providing immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation to those affected by floods, earthquakes, fires, pandemics, and other calamities.
Our goal is to ensure no family is left helpless in times of disaster. With compassion, speed, and community involvement, we deliver life-saving assistance when it’s needed most.

Objectives
Provide emergency supplies like food, water, clothing, and shelter
Support victims in physical and emotional recovery
Rebuild homes, schools, and community structures
Equip communities with knowledge and tools for disaster preparedness
Collaborate with government and local authorities for faster, wider outreach
Our Relief Work Includes
1. Emergency Relief Kits
Immediately after a disaster, our team reaches affected areas with:
Cooked meals and dry ration kits
Drinking water and hygiene supplies
Blankets, tarpaulins, and clothing
Sanitary kits for women and girls
2. Temporary Shelters & Medical Support
We set up temporary relief shelters in partnership with local volunteers and authorities and arrange for:
Basic medical aid and first aid services
Trauma counseling and support for children and the elderly
Safe spaces for women and girls
3. Livelihood Recovery Assistance
After the initial relief phase, we support families in restarting their lives through:
Distribution of tools, seeds, and work kits
Support for farmers, street vendors, and laborers
Small grants for women-led home businesses
4. Disaster Preparedness Workshops
We conduct community training sessions to:
Educate people about how to respond during floods, fires, and other emergencies
Teach first aid, evacuation planning, and safe sheltering
Build community disaster response teams

- 1,200+ families assisted during flood relief efforts in Western Uttar Pradesh
