Child Education

Empowering Children. Enabling Dreams.

Child Education

At Nishita Foundation Seva Samiti, we strongly believe that education is the most powerful tool for transforming lives. For a child born into poverty, education is a lifeline—an opportunity to rise above challenges and build a dignified, empowered future.

Yet, thousands of children in and around remain out of school due to economic hardship, lack of guidance, or social barriers. We are on a mission to change this reality.

Our Mission

To create a society where no child is denied the right to education, regardless of their social or economic background.

  • Support with homework and exam preparation.

  • Regular health checkups and hygiene awareness.

2. School Enrollment & Retention

We actively identify out-of-school children and:

  • Assist with their school admission process.

  • Provide uniforms, books, and supplies.

  • Regularly track their attendance and progress.

3. Awareness Campaigns

Through door-to-door visits, street plays, and community meetings, we:

  • Educate parents on the importance of education.

  • Break myths and social barriers preventing girls from attending school.

  • Encourage communities to support every child’s learning journey.

4. Digital Education Access

We are working to:

  • Provide access to tablets and e-learning tools.

  • Partner with digital platforms to offer free online learning content.

5. Scholarships and Sponsorships

For high-potential students from low-income families, we offer:

  • Scholarships for school fees

  • Mentorship programs

  • Career guidance sessions

Our Objectives

  • Ensure 100% school enrollment and retention among children in slum and rural areas.

  • Create safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environments.

  • Promote holistic development through academic support, emotional care, and life skills training.

  • Bridge the learning gap between privileged and underprivileged children.

Success Stories

🧒 Ravi’s Journey from Ragpicker to School Topper

Ravi, 11, was once a ragpicker helping his family survive. Our team enrolled him in school, provided tuition support, and today, he ranks among the top 5 students in his class. His dream is to become a teacher.

👧 Sana – Breaking Gender Barriers

Sana, 13, was being prepared for early marriage. We intervened, counseled her parents, and enrolled her in a local school. Today, she is confidently pursuing her education and inspiring other girls to do the same.

Challenges We Face

  • High dropout rates due to poverty or child labor

  • Gender discrimination and early marriage

  • Lack of awareness among parents about long-term benefits of education

  • Limited infrastructure and digital access in rural areas

Despite these challenges, our passion and community support fuel our determination to keep moving forward.
